When most people think about Arizona, they think about a barren wasteland devoid of all life and civilization. Simply stated, they have been watching too many old westerns. Those of us to live in the great state of Arizona can attest to the fact that it is a thriving and growing economy with something for everyone. The state has several excellent universities which include Arizona State University, and the University of Arizona, which are both a huge draw for young students just beginning their adult lives. Furthermore, Arizona has an ideal climate for those individuals looking for moderate temperatures to live out their golden years. Our great state is a sort of a melting pot where young and old meet and glory in the sun. This convergence of young and old in our state has created a climate where we have young professionals graduating from school early to use their skills and start their new careers, and older citizens who are in need of the services these young graduates can provide. As a result, Arizona has some of the best medical care in the country (in my humble opinion).
This unique convergence of young and old is one of the reasons that we have many adequate Arizona LASIK professionals. I come here for school, and decide to stay and make our state their home. This is good for Arizona because we gain many skilled individuals to provide quality services to our population. If you are visiting and looking for Phoenix LASIK, Mesa LASIK, or Scottsdale LASIK professionals you can find them here. One of the aims of this site from the beginning has been to provide readers with quality information about some of the LASIK professionals in metropolitan areas of Arizona. To that end, today I will throw out a couple more reviews of Arizona LASIK professionals in the Phoenix area.
The first group of LASIK professionals I will touch on today is Moretsky&Cassidy LASIK Vision Correction. First, let me say that I like the way their site is laid out. It is very clean, very easy read and very easy to navigate… very big plus in my book. It is always nice to be able find the information you want when you visit a website. I don’t know about you, but I like having to spend time digging for permission. I also like the fact that right up front that place pricing information and they display the various awards their business has received. There are some things you may want to find a bargain on… I surgery is not one of them. The other thing I like is that they have a very comprehensive section provides information about your doctors and their practice. They have made a site that makes it very easy for you, the consumer, to investigate the practice and make an educated decision as to whether or not they are the right LASIK provider for you.
The next LASIK professional will discuss is the Horizon eye specialists & LASIK centers. Their website is very simply laid out, not cluttered with too much information. Again one of the things that is appealing about this website is at the very top level they make items such as testimonials, Dr. information, and price information readily available to the consumer. As I stated above is a huge bonuses for me, but I would think for you. Additionally there is a section on the page that tells you why you should choose them. Of course you expect sales job here, but they provide you with information about their experience in what separates them from the competition. They also have a very nice testimonials page is laid out with both text and video testimonies by former patients. Again this site provides you with the information you need to go out and make an informed decision.
The bottom line when choosing an Arizona LASIK professional is that you must take your time and do your research. As I alluded to earlier in the article some things you can afford to go cheap on… and LASIK eye surgery is not one of them. Remember the old adage you get what you pay for, do your research, and make an informed decision. LASIK surgery when done properly can greatly enhance your quality of life, when done poorly it can have the exact opposite effect.
Good luck with your search for LASIK professional. If you decide to use either one of these two doctors, please consider coming back here and leaving your comments on our page for our other readers.

Many people are interested in exploring the possibility of having LASIK eye surgery performed to help enhance their eye sight, and roll back the negative effect that time has had on their vision. One of the factors that folks have to take into consideration when looking at having this procedure performed is what LASIK eye surgery cost.
While the costs typically aren’t enormous, they can be substantial. My experience with my own medical insurance company is that they are not willing (at least at this point) to cover the cost of LASIK eye surgery for corrective purposes. It seems that this procedure is currently looked at as more of a vision enhancement than medical necessity and as such, most providers are unwilling to cover it. I think it falls into the same category as most cosmetic surgery. Typically these procedures are disallowed also because they are viewed as enhancements as opposed to being treatments that are necessary for the medical well being of the patient.
In Arizona, it seems that the average price of one of these procedures is right around $1200 per eye. I have seen different advertisements on the Internet that promise to deliver this procedure for as little as $499 per eye, but I would be leery of going to see someone that offers the procedure at such a substantial discount. The old adage “You get what you pay for” typically holds true, and the one place where you do not want to take short cuts is with your vision. This is one of those times when I would think it would be better to pay a little more for someone that has a long track record of successfully performing these types of procedures.
The bottom line to all of this is that you should do your research when looking into LASIK procedures. While the cost of LASIK eye surgery is an important factor to consider, it is not the only factor. Take your time, check out the providers in your area, see what LASIK eye surgery cost your insurance provider will cover, evaluate the LASIK eye surgeons in your area, and then make a well informed decision.
Let us know what conclusions you reach regarding your own need for LASIK surgery. We appreciate your feedback.
Thanks and good luck!

As I have said before, there are many LASIK surgeons in the valley, and it is not always an easy task to make a decision who to trust your vision with or be able to determine lasik eye surgery cost. If this is your first time to the site, the reason we exist is to provide you with a one stop shop that has information about the different LASIK surgeons and doctors in the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. We are not associated with a practice, and will not endorse any specific Phoenix LASIK practitioner. Our intent is to provide you with information. What you do with that information is up to you. Please feel free to browse the pages of our site. I hope the information is useful to you.
Today, we are going to take a look at a practice located in the Greater Phoenix area (offices in both the Phoenix and Glendale areas). The name of the practice is the Horizon Eye Specialists and LASIK Center. They have a full complement of trained professional ophthalmologists and eye surgeons, as well as a whole host of other eye specialists. Additionally, their website provides a very nice testimonials page that provides the stories and feedback of some of their patients. It is always nice to see what previous patients have had to say about the office. They offer several different payment options, and they have invested heavily in procuring state of the art equipment for their facility.
I performed a cursory query in Google looking to see if the Mighty OZ would tell me of any complaints or problems that other consumers have had with this practice, and I found nothing.
If you make the decision to use the Horizon Eye Specialists, please come back and tell us wht your impression was. We appreciate your feedback.
Thanks and good luck!

Another question you can ask your Phoenix Arizona Eye Surgeon is what is their success ratio. They should be able to provide you with numbers that are fairly close to those of the US FDA.
You may also be able to discuss the laser eye surgery cost and compare it against the average laser eye surgery cost in the industry. You get what you pay for, and if the price is too far out of line with their competitors…there is probably a reason why.
Good luck!
